“Magical Caprice”. Caprice, now in its 11th. year is the epitome of the true Christmas spirit.

As a body of musicians, Caprice goes from strength to strength. There were tremendous improvements in the quality of the accompanying chords and the music had far more light and shade than a year ago.

“Caprice – Ten Golden Years” Since its modest beginnings in 1987, Caprice has raised over £5400 for charities, while giving untold pleasure to players and audience alike. That has to be worth celebrating.

Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. I cannot help but be amazed at the ability of the Caprice players. Who needs to go to London to hear good music when in Essex we are so lucky to have Caprice. The whole evening could not of been better; brilliant musicians who were obviously enjoying what they were doing; a conductor who appeared to manage the event with ease and who created a very happy relaxed atmosphere within the theatre; and the knowledge that the talented members of Caprice had given up their time to help others. Without doubt the people of Essex can be proud of Caprice.
